specializes in the production of Turned & Polished carbon, alloy and stainless steel bars with a size range from 3/4" to 5".
Diameters South Corporation
operates 2 distinct but overlapping turning lines. The 3" Turner produces from 3/4" thru 3" diameter. The 5" Turner produces from 1-1/2" thru 5" diameter. Both turning lines are supported with in line rotary straightening equipment to maximize efficiencies.
All equipment at Diameters South has been upgraded or modified since 2001 to enhance production capabilities. An example is the Medart Exit Table. Additional expenditures include new straightening rolls for the 5" straightener and the 3" straightener. A new cutter head for the 5" turner is on order along with a new chip conveyor for the 5" turner.
